Delivered courses - IET - Teaching/Modules

Dr Henderson;

Presents for the European Energy Centre on their Edinburgh based course on "Solar Photovoltaic" on the topics of Grid Connection (G83/1-1) and the Edinburgh Napier solar PV array.

Prepared and delivered a one day Training course for staff at Newage International on Fundamentals of Electrical Generators.

Prepared and delivered a Training Course on Power System Economics at John Brown Engineering, Clydebank.

Prepared a Continuing Education Course on Electrical and Commercial Engineering of Appropriate Technology Micro Hydro Schemes in Nepal.

IET (formerly IEE) short courses

Dr Henderson is a founder-member and Chairman of the organising committee for the IET (formerly IEE) Courses on Electrical Generators and Distributed Generation. He also presents on the courses.

The Electrical Generators course first ran in 1996 and was repeated in 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003 and in 2005.

A Generator Applications Course ran in 1998 and the Distributed Generation Systems course has run in 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006 to 2011 inclusive.

The Distributed Generation Systems course will run again in June 2012, full details are available below.
